What SMP is
Scalp micropigmentation (SMP) uses fine needles to deposit pigment into the scalp, creating dots that look like short hair or stubble, or that reduce the contrast between thinning hair and scalp. It is purely cosmetic: it does not treat the scalp or the hair itself. Results and longevity vary with the practitioner, the pigment and your skin.
